carrier gun phantom gun
« on: August 12, 2010, 07:34:30 AM »
Yesterday (8/11). I saw knights carrier take a port (shocking as that is). :D   After the port was taken, it appeared that a manned 5" gun was still firing.  When a flyby was done by several players, the phantom rounds could still be seen firing when there was no ship in the area.  I have a film if needed.

:huh  Maybe that is what is sinking the CVs in the Bermuda Triangle in the previous posts... Or maybe it is the deck gun of a submarine waylaid by Skuzzy  :bolt:

Sudz,  I checked my films.  It looks like I didn't save that one.  Sorry.

All I can add to help out is that it looked to be a 5" gun that was shooting.  It appeared to be a glitch as our cv was moving.  When pilots called out to stop the shelling, there was nobody manning a gun at the time.  I don't recall if the shells were causing any damage.

We really need a film of this, as we have not been able to reproduce this bug, and it seems to happen to a lot of people.
