100 year old whiskey!  That is nothing compared to The steamboat Arabia that sank in 1853 and recover 1988 in the Missouri River.  they have found crates of whiskey.  that is 135 years old at the time they found it.

What about that champage from like the 1700's or whenever that was found a month or so ago?

From the steamboat?  I think that they excavate everything from the site. Forgot to mention that they have a lot of preserves that are still safe to eat..... if they are not tainted with small pox.

This is why the thought of the CDC destroying the reserves of smallpox scares the hell out of me, you never know....  :noid

Hell, I might like a vaccination tomorrow...... hopefully that is still possible in the future.

Oops, back to the thread.

People who put ice in their whisky should have a peat briquette inserted at high velocity in their rectum. Leaving it on ice for a century should involve rocket propulsion in said insertion.

Why the hell would anyone go to this much trouble for a blend for goodness sake?

Becouse it is a blend of whiskey that was lost in a fire before Whyte and McKay bought them over. And due to the fire the recipe was also lost :(  :cry :cry
