  • Player must have been logged in to the arena for at least ten minutes prior
  • Player must have been disconnected from the arena
  • Player is given 5 minutes from time of disconnection to re-enter arena, during which time the arena cap doesn't apply
  • If player does not meet all three criteria, then they are not allowed back into the arena, unless that arena isn't full

I don't see why this would be impossible to implement, and I don't understand why anyone would be against this, but I'm willing to listen to arguments against this if you care to explain.

I dont think how long you were logged in matters.  The point is you got in to the server before the capacity was reached and you were disconnected, therefore you should be allowed back in.  its just an arbitrary rule.

I know why someone would be against this....they are stupid fan boys for the aces high company...these are the same people who deny every wish list request on the grounds that the aces high team is too busy and shouldnt be forced to work hard for their paying customers....

Right now the game has a count for Discoed, right?  Isn't that one of the stats that the game keeps . I know I"ve seen it somewhere.

Late War Tour 127 Statistics for Traveler
 Fighter  Bomber  Attack  Veh./Boat  Total
Kills 23 0 5 2 30
Assists 7 0 4 0 11
Sorties 53 0 36 10 99
 Landed 21 0 3 4 28
 Bailed 4 0 1 0 5
 Ditched 2 0 0 4 6
 Captured 0 0 3 0 3
 Deaths 25 0 29 2 56
 Discos 1 0 0 0 1
Time hh:mm:ss 07:23:04 00:00:00 06:20:11 00:34:33 14:17:48
Rank 870 2502 854 1054 1093

Yes it counts discos, but how is it to know HOW you discoed? If you LEAVE the game you have to click QUIT, but a disco is a disco. How many "looser" are you going to get that will just pull their plug to "disco" there are enough accusations as it is now, now you want to give people a chance to do it for real?

Again, it's not going to happen, get use to it, learn that it is a hazard of playing an on-line game.

I like this idea. I hate getting discoed in LW then having to log out then log back in for about 10 minutes just to get another spot.

just let the numbers go over a bit.  It already happens all the time.

Actually, it doesn't.  Once an arena reaches cap, nobody new can enter.  You're just seeing the cap number fluctuate as relative numbers between arenas change.

Try loggin into the other arena for a minute (or two).  By bringing the other arena numbers up, the dynamic cap will change in the "must get in at all costs" arena much quicker.

Fluctuations or not, his point was that you can have 250/200  in the game now and often do.

Depending on the day and time, numbers already in the arena,  that number change may be a long time coming.

Just yesterday i discoed out of the orange a few minutes after 12. I log back in and the arena was 357/100 and it took 2 hrs to get back in.
