Was at the site of the shooting about 5 minutes before it happened. Battalion had PT there that let out early today, so a bunch of us made it off campus just in time. My buddy who stayed back a minute or two to refill his water bottle saw the man run across the street in all black with an AK-47 and heard gunshots. Most of our battalion made it off campus, but our building is right next to the shooting, so those of us who were still inside are locking in the armory, wearing flak jackets, helmets, and battle gear. Still waiting on details.
