But the G2's were still in use right to the end, and even though the G6 is a later model the G2 is a better perform imho.
I thought the same thing until our Finish friends taught me otherwise. Leave the gondolas in the hanger if you have a choice.
Easy in-game again.

I read it somewhere :D

edit: got an osprey book showing II/JG3 operating G2's in April 1944.

II/JG3 had 109G-2s in April 1943 - 34
                              May 1943 - 9
                              June 1943 - 3
                              July 1943 - 2

Not listed after July 1943.  In April 1944 they had 44 Bf-109G6s reported as accessable.

Source.. well I read it somewhere.  ;)

Stoney this is going to sound as dumb as it should. There are both allied and axis air spawns. Next time before I post I will talk to the guy who built the terrain.
