Number of Ack Guns @ V-Base (Pretty picture included)

Rolled onto a V-Base tonight just captured for a recapture try.  Myself and another person in a tank.  We were calling out the number of guns down.  I said I got two and the other person said he got four.  Then someone in another GV stated that that is all the ack.

I know there are a total of 11 guns on a V-base, any of which can kill troops.  We were not referring to the auto, manned or anti-tank, just the total guns down, wanting to make sure that all guns were down and the troops would be safe from auto or manned.  This person stated "there are only SIX guns total on a V-base and was tired of others telling him different".  So there is no confusion I have taken the time to post a V-base map.  I count 8 yellow triangles and 3 blue ones.  Any of which can kill troops.  I hope this assists those whom can not read the map provided to you by HTC in your clipboard.

11 total, both right, although you were more correct that you wanted all 11 dead before trying capture.

  Having the color helps there.  I look at the clipboard maps now and just shrug. I have no idea whats what.

But to be clear, only the auto ack has to be down before the troops will take right? Providing no one jumps in a manned gun that is.

Yeah that hasnt changed uptown, but there are so many other manned guns better off taking them all out.  I also agree with the maps being much harder to read these days.  To be honest I wasnt much of a base taker to begin with but now i just let the others do the work and fly fighter cover  lol.  To confusing.  I havnt even really tried bombing the town down except for the 1 salvo of 1000lb bombs from a lanc that seems to take 80% of the town down.....
