and those were friggen funny
Yes they were but the "point is" the lawsuits about rebel flags and witches portrayed as ugly (not all people of the wicken faith are ugly they claim) and so on. Its not about people insisting the cartoons be removed its about the television stations caving in to fear of being sued.Watch the movie "Unthinkable" and maybe you can find a clue in there as to where things went wrong.
someone named pervert is thanking someone named badboy for a enjoyable night?
once again.....those "stereotypes" can only offend someone if they LET them. things went wrong when lawyers started getting enough power to sue someone for just looking at someone else wrong. sheesh.......
Folks, play nice.
And people are offended.
I was sitting here with my son watching cartoons this morning and a thought struck me. WTF HAPPENED! We have Darthvader type guys instead of that space guy from BugsBunny! We have crap like South Park and Family Guy, yet they have banned PorkiePig,FogHorn Leghorn, and Yosemite Sam. Where is the outrage?! I was going to get a Yosemite Sam tattoo when I was younger....I may do it now. Right on my forearm with a him holding a SAW wearing confederate grays and saying "screw off". Now I know we have some good artists in here, so I'm wondering if someone could draw a picture like what I described? About 3"x4" or so. I'd like take it to the tattoo guy here in town have have it put on if it looks good enough.
Holy HTML batman! And yes I remember that one quite well

those are all great old cartoons, man those bring back memories of the 60's early 70's sitting in front of the old Admiral TV in our flannels PJ's, we just couldn't wait for Saturday mornings and that's when you only had 5 to 7 channels on the TV
