Windows XP mode is much easier solution. (if you dont need any 3d applications in XP)

The main reason for me keeping xp is my reflex xtr r/c flight sim Ive got an old version of this that wont run on 64bit does anyone know if this will run in 7 xp mode ?
I carnt relax cos I havent done a thing and I carnt do a thing cos I carnt relax.

Did you test it won't run? Windows7 has WOW (Windows On Windows) subsystem that lets you run most 32-bit applications just normally.

XP mode is for business use it doesn't have the oomph to run games.

I didnt test it yet as I read if you dont have the later slimline dongle it wont work,but I will give it a go later today and see what happens.

I have installed both drives the new with windows 7 installed Reflex xtr on windows 7 and guess what ? it works :)
both drives are running great with the 2 different operating systems,at this point I had to install a programme on disc and then realised when I installed the new hd I had knocked out the power lead on my dvd.
I plugged it in and now it wont run xp :The windows 7 drive still runs but no dice when I switch to xp.
I have an antec 1000w power supply so I dont think its a power issue,this is probably a sata port or jumper or both problem,I dont have a clue about what should be plugged into where?
