No they are not.. unless you purchase a converter from the manufacturers of the pedals.

I used to have the Simped Digital pedals and Sidewinder FF stick.  I emailed the manufacturer asking the same question.

Here is the reply:

I beg your pardon because of all the delay caused by summer holidays, any
turbulences with new structures in our factory and the very large demand for
SIMPED-pedals all over the world.

We can offer a possibility to use the SIMPED-pedals as a second control setup
parallel to an USB joystick like the following:

For coupling the SIMPED-pedals to an USB-joystick you will need the
SIMPED-digital with interface Sim-PDPI and our new developed "V-stick". With
this equipment you can make a second control setup "2 buttons flight stick" (ID
2, device 2) at the normal gameport (sound card), while the USB-joystick is
working at the USB-port on ID 1 device 1. The "V-stick" (virtuell joystick) is a
small adaptor with 3 buttons which has to be connected to the Y-cable-joystick
connector of the SIMPED-pedal. Then connect the SIMPED-pedal to the normal
analogue gameport. To calibrate this setup you have to use three small black
buttons on the V-stick. The middle button simulates a button of the joystick,
the left and the right button simulate the max. deflections of the joystick. So
you can make a normal calibration with this control setup.
Then you have only to assign in the flight simulation menue the functions to the
according control devices:- rudder function (axis 4) - device 2, pedals;
aileron, elevation, and throttle function (axis 1, 2 and 3) - device 1
USB-joystick. Instead of the V-stick, you can also use an other analogue
joystick like a throttle for example. But it is neccessary to terminate the
Y-cable connector "Joystick" to recognize the second control setup at the
analogue gameport and to calibrate it.
This setup will work exactly.
The system requirements are:

DirektX 5.0 or higher (recommended version 7.1a), WINDOWS 98 or higher, analogue
gameport.
Please let me know what you think.

Best regards,

D. Hofmann

Thanks Jekyll, I see you say you "used" to have the simped pedals, i guess you opted to get rid of them and got something else for use with the saitek setup? can you recommend a good set of pedals for them?

thanks again!

The CH Pro USB pedals can be used with the Saitek x36 combo USB both here in Aces High where it's all set up to use any type of stick, as well as in older games.

With older games you just download a file that allows the pedals to work in place of the rudder rocker switch. I don't use that file, because newer games like Aces High and WWII online allow the user to set his own control axis.

I'm not sure what this other set of pedals is all about, but I can't imagine a better set of pedals than the CH Pro USB Pedals.

While your at it you should skip the Saitek x36 combo, which I have and have written the profile for offered on the downloads page, and get yourself a set of the new CH Throttle USB and their new CH USB stick. I am switching from Saitek, very poor software, to CH as soon as they ship them.

Good Luck

ya get what you pay for!  The Saitek system costs less than the USB Fighterstick alone  (unless they changed the price since I was looking for sticks)!   :)
