YoooHooodie! Been in one, a long time ago. The B-36 was awesome 4 jets and 6 Piston engines, making it the largest mass produced piston engine aircraft ever built and the first truly intercontinental bomber ever built . Man! Back in the day it was a hell of a bomber. Skeered the Ruskies to death without ever dropping a bomb. There were other faster smaller bombers built soon after, as well as supersonic interceptors, but those early jet bombers couldn't carry Fat Man & Little Boy type bombs because of their size and lack of true intercontinental ability. It stayed in service until the B-52 took over because ICBM's were no real threat until the 60's.
