Objective train in next scenario...
« on: September 03, 2010, 12:56:23 PM »
I would like to request that we have an objective train. If a CV is sunk, then its sunk for the entire scenario. CV planes must be transfered to an airfield. If your objective is to escort bombers, and they take more than 60% casualties, then bombers cannon be based at the same airfield as the one used previously for one frame (to simulate new bombers needing to be shipped in to that area). If there are GV's in this one (doesn't look likely) then their next objective will depend on if/how long it takes them to take the previous objective. If they are to take a hill, but fail to do so, and are even thrown back, then they must first retake the ground they lost before any further action can be taken.

Food for thought.

Battle of Britain, Coral Sea, Stalin's Fourth, Operation Husky, and Dawn of Battle all have aspects where what was done in one frame influences what is available or where things are in the next frame.

Different scenarios have different designs.  Some are the way you say, some are phased (like The Final Battle and Philippine Phandango), some are different still.

So, while I'm not sure if the next one will have this, there definitely will be scenarios in the future that do have that aspect, as there have been in the past.
