My first succesful mission!

I took of in an bomber/attack with 12 bombs in each one, flying in formation.
We attacked an enemy tank facility taking off from a1, and where able to shoot down to spitfires.
I then landed the plane without a problem.
Only thing that would of made mission bett would be if we hit something with the bombs

Congratulations! 

Keep practicing, take your time to make that calibration count.  Open up your clipboard and open up your E6B.  When the "climb rate" = 0, you speed has settled out and a roughly 10 second calibration will generally get you a good calibration.  Keep your E6B open up in your bomb-sight and you can compare speeds to make sure you are calibrated nicely.  Drop at the leading edge of the target to spread your salvo out across the target.  Ba-Boom.

but you DID hit something sir!! those bombs HAD to hit the ground eventually.

Sounds like you're doing well starting out. Bombers are fun in their own way, and with patience & practice you'll get better.
