Entering and Exiting a Vehicle

Do you think the game should allow you to Exit a damaged vehicle then on foot have the ability to enter one of your buddies vehicles for either protection or a way to escape to battlefield?

Bailing from GV's? Its a no from me. What's to stop someone driving to town in a jeep, then bailing to shoot the troops. If your vehicle is disabled, then pray for supplies or take the coming shots like a man. You can always re-up and try again.

What's to stop someone from flying into town in a plane and bailing to shoot the troops?  Or from driving the Jeep into town and shooting the troops with the mounted 50?

I think it's a fair request...  Could be interesting.  Maybe not really totally functional... But it would make sense considering how useful bailing in the flying game is.
I'm Sector95 in-game! :-D

I would like it. I wish they'd work on the ground game more, make it a bit more intimate. As it is I still love it. You should be able to exit a vehicle to scout around a berm, climb a tree, to see things or drop a nade down the hatch of an opponent. I'd like a GV based map, or areas of existing maps with modified air rules. Make more realistic a GV's ability to hide/camo...no arcade neon icons to be seen by air..if air wants to tard gvs then let them earn it...up the sim to a more difficult and accurate modeling for air wanting to participate. Sure, heavy tanks leave tracks & tear up the turf..maybe show those. You can follow a tank into its hiding place that way...but not the current neon signs announcing even what kind of GV it is to air. The air would have to get close to tell...so maybe its a flak...a little more pause before zombie tardwerks. Oh and BTW, get the physics right....tanks will shear off medium trees...no banana plant or hedge has ever overturned or stopped a tank.

I wouldn't mind being able to step out for a moment, and get back in.......

Not only to take a look over that hill, but also, and far more important..... I'd rather tinkle on a tree than in another empty snapple bottle.   :aok

As I recall one could do this, a long time ago.  Yes, one could dismount and guard a map room.  One could also dismount and then go afoot in a recon mode.  It did come in handy.  I am tracked and smoking.  Friendlies are advancing to my area.  I dismount (a kill is awarded) and then provide recon and intel info to the advancing friendlies.
