is it possible to use the plane skins offline?

I really wanted to play as the Brazilian P47D-40 that is on the hitech's skins list overthere, but is it only possible online? because it would be really interesting to use in missions for example

yes it is possible, you just have to have the skin downloaded and saved into your skins folder

I do have it downloaded and into the skins folder but still, when i click the skin on the tab.. it doesnt change the skin.... nothing actually happens... so is it me?

I believe what Raphael wants to know is in playing "Offline Missions" is it possible to change the planes' skins to what YOU want, insofar I
haven't an answer for this as the planes remain according to the authors' original designations.

Would any of the "Offline Mission Makers" offer a solution to this query?  TY.

To use custom skins in offline missions, the skins must be built into the terrain, to make them the default skin for whichever particular planes types.  This is why with many missions I've done, I've made a small custom terrain just for the mission.  Yep, build a terrain just to have a certain skin.

This is a big wish of mine.  I wish whatever skins the player already has assigned in the hanger would be the skins that are used in the missions.  Would help sooo much with the immersion factor.

Thats right, it will be as ugly and as stupid looking that i could possibly do, but what can i do, i have no clue of how advanced image edition programs work, lol i cant believe im doing this... ill post some screenshot when im finished, it must take a few hours maybe...

That was done on a regular 'Paint' application? I was expecting worse than that...not bad
