PS7 and CS4
« on: October 06, 2010, 05:59:53 PM »
Just starting to get back into PS.  I have PS7 at work and CS4 at home.  I emailed a file from my office today that I've been working on and, when I opened it in CS4, it was a tad wonked out.  Circles were ovals, blue was black, nothing insurmountable but a tad annoying.  Anybody else dealt with similar issues?

Only have worked on photoshop files that were 1 version off, you have any filters that you used in the file? Besides that it just may FUBAR going between those 2.

I would check to see what you are saving the file as under PS7 and make sure there's not a more recent format you can save.

Other than that, it might just be an issue with reading older files on the new version. Check out www.adobe.com for patches up updates. I had some very annoying issues/quirks/bugs in 5.0 until I upgraded to 5.1 (for free).
