One of the things some may not be aware of is that we're still loosing friends and family to this tragedy.

Many of the workers who helped at ground zero are suffering with illness as a result of just being there to help!

Many of those people dont recieve the support or health care they deserve,of a group of 86 workers there was only 14 at this years memorial, they rest have passed.

What saddens me the most is they are even loosing family memebers who were never on site, simply because they brought the toxins home and exposed their families unknowingly.

I may be biased as I have a friend who's going through this as I write,I couldn't bring myself to call him yesterday as he needs afew days after the reunion to recover and the last thing I want to do is give him more stress at this time.

There were hundreds of volenteer workers who helped out but they were "left" out of any goverment help and must foot the bill for any medical costs as a result of being onsight.

I just thought you all should know.

    :salute

and: :pray to all affected by this event.

I've been thinking of writing a poem for Sept. 11th. if i finish i will post it in this thread. I'll make sure that it doesn't anger anyone. The day is to remember the fallen, not wish harm to others.
I am in need of a new epic quote

The History Channel had a whole day dedicated to all things 9/11 yesterday. News footage, audio recordings, etc. I sat down last night and watched for about a half hour, and I had to change the channel. Watching those towers fall brings a lot of heartache and anger.

yeah, they do that every year.

i cant bear to watch the uncut footage for more than an hour, it brings back too many horrible memories

:salute to the fallen, and to those who protect our great nation
