Help for the squeakers
« on: November 14, 2010, 10:54:59 PM »
I still think the young guys need this http://www.screamingbee.com/product/MorphVOXJunior.aspx

Slip past the prejudice.

Just think, no one needs to know whether you are a squeeker or not and you can be judged solely on your attitude and the way you carry yourself.

Squeeking isn't a sound, it's an attitude.

How high, or low a voice is, how what kind of accent has nothing to do with being a squeeker. A squeeker is an annoying pest. Some are drunk, some have southern accents and have there mouth full of rocks....or something else  I'm sure my "yankee" accent may get on peoples nerves after awhile.

Kids are picked out as squeekers more often than not because they are a bit OVER enthusiastic in the game. They are getting to play with the big boys and they get pumped up and go a bit over board. Nate does get carried away at times, but so do other kids. The differance is a lot of these other kids learn to calm down by listening to everyone else. If you get told a number of times a day to STFU, then maybe your talking too much.

Like being over enthusiastic should be a problem. :)

We should be happy there is a new generation of kids coming in that WANT to play and can get the wherewithal to do it. If they don't start here, where will they start? Folks, we are in the center of the Alamo of the MMO WWII air combat gaming, if it dies here its pretty much DEAD.

Now to me, putting up with a few questions for a little while seems small price to pay to insure the game genre I love will last. They do grow ya know.

For folks who really can't stand it, it might be a good idea to use squelch rather than screaming at them or being sarcastic. Unless of course, you like to demonstrate that you, a fully grown human male, can be mean to a kid? Just a thought, as I see people demonstrating that all the time in here and in the arena . . . Must make you feel vewwwwy bruave!!

this software led to a incident amongst some friends that left one as little more than damaged goods
