Well at the worst they'll put your Airbus into a river.

I've hit a few.  In fact I destroyed the left wing of a 30 minute old TKS anti ice system on a Mooney by hitting a duck on the test flight after it was installed.  I crushed a radome on an E-170 hitting a snow goose.  I couldn't see them against the bright light and snow on the ground.  Lots of Killdeer and little black starling thingys have met their demise at my hand as well.  The following pictures aren't me, but it's what happens to a Canada Goose when it gets sucked into the inlet at the base of the Lear 60's vertical stab.  My buddy was flying this airplane and hit a total of 4 in the flock.  The tower controller relayed the report that he was 1 away from being an ace on the taxi-in after airport ops removed the dead ones from the runway prior to landing.

I don't believe so.  I think it's the same as the 45 where it's a ram air scoop used for cooling of the air cycle machine/Pack.  The ductwork the goose is in does two 90º turns to get to where it ended up.

<edit>

The 45 has a couple holes on the upper right aft portion of the fuselage.  This is the APU inlet and exhaust.  The 60 I think has the inlet and exhausted opposite one another on the rear of the fuselage because they don't have the external baggage the 45 does.  Don't quote me on that though  :)
