Well at the worst they'll put your Airbus into a river.I've hit a few. In fact I destroyed the left wing of a 30 minute old TKS anti ice system on a Mooney by hitting a duck on the test flight after it was installed. I crushed a radome on an E-170 hitting a snow goose. I couldn't see them against the bright light and snow on the ground. Lots of Killdeer and little black starling thingys have met their demise at my hand as well. The following pictures aren't me, but it's what happens to a Canada Goose when it gets sucked into the inlet at the base of the Lear 60's vertical stab. My buddy was flying this airplane and hit a total of 4 in the flock. The tower controller relayed the report that he was 1 away from being an ace on the taxi-in after airport ops removed the dead ones from the runway prior to landing.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
