One of ourOC members is in charge of a Coke and Dr Pepper bottling facility in Westchester county NY. Might be worth him chiming in on this one. I toured the facility with him - and at no time did I find anywhere where a foreign object could've gotten into a bottle, can or otherwise. They go thru 20 quality steps from washing, lidar scans for dimensioning the container to check the volume capacity, and there are rejects at every step for the most minor stuff. Smells fishy.
