I am not a staff member, but it is worth a try asking if we could do this scenario. Battle Of Singapore, I don't know if you guys have done this or not see'ing as to where I am new to AvA.


Scenario

The Battle of Singapore was fought in the South-East Asian theater of World War II when the Empire of Japan invaded the Allied stronghold of Singapore. Singapore was the major British military base in South East Asia and nicknamed the "Gibraltar of the East". The fighting in Singapore lasted from 31 January 1942 to 15 February 1942.

It resulted in the fall of Singapore to the Japanese, and the largest surrender of British-led military personnel in history. About 80,000 British, Australian and Indian troops became prisoners of war, joining 50,000 taken by the Japanese in the Malayan campaign. Britain's Prime Minister Winston Churchill called the ignominious fall of Singapore to the Japanese the "worst disaster" and "largest capitulation" in British history.

It's doable.

A couple of your plane choices don't fit the timeline, but that can be adjusted.

Do you have a particular terrain/map in mind for this set-up?

Never heard of a KI-64 and we don't have one in the game to sub for the Ki-43. The I-16 with the light gun package would make a decent Ki-43 sub. Actually the best sub for the KI-43 is the A6M2.
The N1K2 does not make a suitable sub for the G3M Nell medium bomber. It's not even on the same planet as far as aircraft go. The A6M5 was not in service at the time of the battle of Singapore.
The Brewster we have isn't the same animal as the Buffalo used by the RAF. However it's do-able. If I could make the suggestion...

Sorry for my incorrect time. I was a bit too far in the future, I guess I wasn't completely comprehending the History.


Still looking at the maps, and suggestions from anyone else on what map we should use?
