Think of it as a form of punishment, nothing says self-correction like humiliation.

True, but what if someone else starts up a chat fight and you post back only to defend yourself, and add some nasty detail by not thinking correctly due to the idiotic person who started the whole problem ? is it fair then to take humiliation in that matter ? well....i guess you can just post "Nothing" and ignore.

We could have a thread recycle bin. I mean it shall help the enviroment recycling all old and unwated threads :)  :aok
