i never have........i generally go through cnet, although i don't download much.......and i forget the site i used for "tweaks" for the video card drivers in my old computer....but it was recommended by a squaddie, and had a lot of good nvidea stuff.

Be careful of what you download.  Read the comments because some of the programs install 3rd party stuff to monitor your web activity.  In my opinion the only good thing about this site is when someone posts the link to a freeware alternative that works just as well.  Here is a pretty good site to check out.  http://www.freedownloadaday.com/

Giveawayoftheday has some good stuff from time to time (depending on what your looking for). Read the comments and investigate before DLing anything.
I DLed a video recorder couple weeks ago, I have to try it yet. It looked better then the one I have now which I DLed from GAOTD couple years ago.
I still have starburn and a disc partition manager from Paragon from them.

Yeah I got Glary Utilities Pro one day on that site.

Oz, I check it daily.  I've gotten some pretty good stuff from there & never had any problems from it.

I've always been impressed with the freeware sites that Kim Komando posts on her page.  There's some decent stuff there.
