Time to play balloons!!
« on: October 01, 2010, 10:29:43 AM »
Well,
My pilot and balloon are here, (Balloon still stuck in customs, middle management ego problem...) I pick up a crew member from LA today at noon, our first mass launch is tomorrow at 630. 700+ balloons launching at one time. This morning was ABQ aloft where we launched from fifty different schools in the metro area.

Kevin

Hey,
What is the Balloon's Name? Have a photo? My kids collect the Cards and Pins. Have pretty much all of them now except the most recent adds. We make a point to go every year to ABQ Balloon Fiesta. We will look for you. Their favorites are the Special Shapes.

Hope to see you there.

You going to be at Taos?

Oh, you need to update your steam engine link.

We do not stop playing because we grow old

My wife received her first ride today, and as is tradition, was inducted into the "Society of Fire and Air" that dates back to the original french balloons of the 1700's

This involves burning hair and alcohol.... very German Grin. She now the Arch Duchess of "Sand rabbits", I am merely a "Knight of the Air" (Sigh)

Hey I recognize that one. I dont think my kids have the card for that one. We usually make the early morning runs about 5:30 or so and start checking the crews for cards. The Pilots Briefing is a good time for them to catch the crews waiting for their Pilot. Your launch site H9 is the same for both Thursday and Friday morning?

Later,
KayBay
