So how many of you have been in a tank or know about tank warfare O.o?
I was in Armor Divisions/Battalions much during my career as an 11C (Indirect Fire Infantryman for the civies

). Providing Mortar (4.2"-107mm and eventually 120mm) fire support
for our M60's, then Abrams. Climbed in a few tanks in my day.
Always glad I wasn't a tanker. Glad I had to sleep in an icy, water filled mudhole, instead of the poor tankers who had to repair track in an icy, water filled mudhole.
We used to call them DAT's (dumb arsed tankers), then the Abrams came out with the computerized fire control/stab system. We called them CDAT's (Computerized dumb arsed tankers).
I've been out 15 years now.
Infantry was a hard road, but I miss it to this day, lol. My Class A's still fit. I've never taken my awards/badges off the jacket.
I'm sure there are many here who have been in a tank and understand tank maneuver.
With your avatar, I'm assuming you were Armored Cav.
PS- DAT j/k
