Slow mouse

I just got finished building my first system all on my own  :) The main components are:

Blizzard 360 case from FrozenCPU
350W Enermax power supply
Pentium 4 1.7Ghz Socket 478
ABIT TH7II-RAID MB
256MB Samsung PC800 RDRAM
2-IBM 60GXP 40GB HDDs RAID 0 array
64MB DDR ELSA Gladiac GeForce2 Ultra
SoundBlaster Live! Platinum

This system makes my DELL P3 1.0Ghz 384MB SDRAM look like crap since in 1600x1200x32 mode, the DELL was topping out at 45fps and this system tops out at 110fps, and I was amazed that everything went together fine and runs great for being a first time builder. Anyway, I do have 1 problem and it is only in Aces High. I have a Microsoft Intellimouse with the newest drivers. When I launch AH and I have to make my way across the screen to click on 1 of the action buttons to play, the cursor takes a couple of seconds to move after I have already moved the mouse. This also occurs when the game loads and I make my way to the hangar. I guess it's not a life and death matter, but it is very annoying. Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it? Any suggestions?

Hiya,
Dunno cure as such

I don't use the driver which came with the mouse, I just let windows install driver, That saves having the mouse util on the systray using resources

dunno but maybe worth a try

Same mouse as yours btw

Have Fun
