Desktop Monitor
« on: October 12, 2010, 08:42:35 PM »
Is anyone have a computer screen for sale?

Anything compatible with Windows XP computer would be fine, trying not to spend too much money on a new monitor, so I came to the AH community to see if anyone had one they weren't using. I live in the US, in Marietta, Georgia. I am looking to spend from $0(If Possible haha)-$50 bucks possibly, if anyone have any other prices that are reasonable that would be great.

If you are wondering why I don't have a PC Screen now. My German Shepherd made himself a new chew toy out of a 24" Monitor.  :cry

your best bet would prob be to check out your local Goodwill outlet store or any pawn shop or even check craigslist in your area......

trying to buy and then ship a monitor further out then say a 25 mile radius just isn't worth it really....... I don't think

the shipping itself would cost near as much as the monitor probably...... and then it is all used at that with no guarantees once you finally receive it.....

best of luck to ya

( if ya wanted to drive to High rock Lake, NC , I would give you any 21" CRT ( got 2 ) or any 19" CRT monitors I have  ( got 3 or 4 )...... all the house monitors are converted to LCD  now...... ( keep them CRT's for backup emergency cases, ....or if the heat goes out in the winter  rofl )

same boat here I've got two 19" CRT's I'd be happy to give away to a fellow AH'r but the shipping would cost a fortune.

I think I'd remove the dog before spending any more money on a monitor.

Not to make fun of the original poster, but I believe the quote, "Anything compatible with Windows XP computer" pretty much says that his skill level is not quite up to par to perform that kind of a repair.
