to the spit driver
« on: October 16, 2010, 09:32:42 AM »
to the spit 9 driver.....there where three of us in 190 a-5s and we had dominated the skies all night.....until you.
    I'm not sure if you were conceived in a spit or just were born in one.....but damn!

   We were all out of cannon rounds and only had bb's , but managed to tear most your plane away from you ( what did you finish with? a prop and an attitude?!) until you water landed at your carrier. That was the best spit driving I've ever seen! I'm not sure, but at one point did i see you actually turn your spit inside out?
  I know its bad form to solicit on the boards.....but za fatherland haz un octoberfest girl unt a bratwurst for you!

 :salute SIR!

I believe that was me. I was fortunate enough to scrape my way inch by inch back to a friendly carrier with a few blemishes. I honestly thought I could peg one of you guys and get away but I couldn't hit a thing; ran out of ammo and just tried to nurse my way back home.

That was probably the most fun I've had in a while. Great flying guys.  :salute

Qrsu!
Best flying I have ever seen...3 on 1!  Man, you tore it up.  I was the 1st 190 that took an oil leak and let you chase me back to my 3 friends in FW190-A5's!

We were laughing so hard...because we thought 3 on 1   let kill and move on!  Not so easy!

<Salute>

We are check for recordings!

Filfast, that was me that smoked your engine. I'm not sure how you got credit for the kill on me though. You were out of AHfilm viewer range when your other squaddy' medic knocked my wing off and you might of hit me with an mg rnd minutes earlier before they arrived, but caused no damage. It certainly was a fun frame untill I had that cold seawater splashed in my face. I sorely watched after as 47 was pummeled from the tower.
The 353rd certainly had some good fights with those 190's,  :cheers:

thanks for clearing that up potsandpans!  Im medic ( cant change my callsign here for some reason)  I WONDERED how you flew away after you rained parts off your plane! Should have known that damn flifast was scooping my kills! lol.
 That was the most fun fso i've ever done! If me, turk and mjsmoke would have recorded it, would have been a great "how to" video for being a wingman. we  cleared each others "6" many , many times!
 I have to admit that i saw some spit 9's do some amazing things that night and it was only due to za superior training unt aircraft of the third reich zat we emerged victorious! ( in the background you have imagine the sound of thoasands of drunk germans yelling " zieg heil! zieg heil!")lol
