They also haven't played anyone good to this point, EXCEPT Standford.   Dominating crap teams is hardly a "litmus test".

Auburn has defeated Three ranked opponents so far (and only two cupcake games so far, but Miss. St being one of them is as always unpredictable) and has a more quality schedule:

09/04/10    vs. Arkansas State                    Auburn, Ala.    W, 52-26
09/09/10    at Mississippi State                     Starkville, Miss.    W, 17-14
09/18/10    vs. Clemson                                Auburn, Ala.    W, 27-24 (OT)
09/25/10    vs. South Carolina (then #12)           Auburn, Ala.    W, 35-27
10/02/10    vs. Louisiana-Monroe                   Auburn, Ala.    W, 52-3
10/09/10    at Kentucky                           Lexington, Ky.    W, 37-34
10/16/10    vs. Arkansas (then #12)           Auburn, Ala.    W, 65-43
10/23/10    vs. LSU (#6 in BCS)                      Auburn, Ala.    W, 24-17

I'm sorry, but Auburn still has Alabama (Away &Top 10) and Georgia (Home) to go yet.   Oregon beat #9 Stanford (as I mentioned before, also their secondary was torched) and only has to face one other ranked team, Arizona.   My statement rings true, Oregon has the better chance of being Undefeated over Auburn, but if the two teams meet up, Auburn will beat them.

I disagree, I believe that Oregon has more speed than Auburn, and Auburn's D is vulnerable,ie Arkansas, South Carolina, Kentucky. Oregon's defense isn't the best in the nation but I just think that Oregon will outscore Auburn in a game.

being from Oregon and watching the Ducks closely for years, i have to say that this years team, is stacked in depth 2 fold. i was in Eugene watching the UCLA game, and never in my life have i seen the Ducks just manhandle UCLA, total domination, i heard from friends at home that the announcers on TV were having alot of fun watching Oregon run its quick spread offense, stating that its almost impossible to keep up with the way Oregon Plays, Chip Kelly's motto is..  Fast, Hard and Finish  i got a chuckle from a statement he made to ESPN   " we could play faster but we have to wait on the chains and ref's to get into postion they slow us down"  at practices they play double what you see on TV theres no ref's or chains to slow them down.

It's tough for teams to get prepared for a offense that plays that fast, a weeks practrice just isn't enough time to get prepared for the Ducks, as far as Auburn and Oregon, that just might be the National game right there and Oregon all the way baby, its there year, there decade, our time

Go Tigers!

Many moons ago, I finally got to see Mizzou beat OU at home.  (Just checked on MU web site.  It was 1981.)  An OU fan at the end of the game says, "I don't know why you're so happy.  We gave you the game."

That made me happy.

Oregon's schedule of difficulty is tied for 117th. What does that tell you?
