if you get a pm it notifys you somehow or if someone post/qoutes you it lets you no.
It would seem you don't know that this BBS already has that feature, and you can turn it on from your forum profile. Just set up your smartphone to synch with the email account you put in your profile. I've done this, just for PM's.
Or, go ahead and create an app yourself.
