I usually log in earlier in the evenings and often find myself alone...An hour later there were 14 in the arena and the count was going up.

Yep, I did this a couple of nights ago.  Nobody on, upped a Zeke with drop tank and flew around admiring the sweet map.  Within 15 minutes, had another come in, and within 45 minutes of me loggin in we had maybe 15 guys having a great time.  Somebody has to be first...and have a little patience.  Patience is often rewarded.

I got a birds eye view watching Strokes and Texican going at it.  Nice long fight too :D

Yea it was a good fight we were both shot up when we met he was low on the deck and smoking from engine two and I had only one operational bb gun on my KI.  But what the hell dove in anyways making pass after pass spraying him with my bb gun!  I kept thinking man this plane handles terrible feels so heavy and I only took 25% fuel.  After stalling and hitting the water Strokes gave me a salute for doing so well with bombs still aboard!   Never flown a ki61 before didn't know I had bombs selected ooops no wonder it was so slugish!  :rofl
If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics suck!

I am actually starting to fly in AvA alot more i see. Just wanted to say thanks to all the ones that helped me out with a few things. I find out with the no Icons yes it is challenging but I feel it is giving me some more practice when I do fight something with icons with range perspective. The Settings I think are great especially with the Wind makes you think alittle more when firing on the Enemy and trying to think which way you want to try and get your deflection shot. I have numerous films from each time I have been in there just need to get some screens done for the AvA site.

Also with the low numbers I logged in around 1pm est yesterday was the only one there for maybe 15 minutes then Grumpy and a few other regs I see in there alot showed up give it time I think once others get the chance to pop in the arena will be a little busier I think. I know I will be there alittle more when I get bored in the MA's
