The crew compartment areas were the only areas that were pressurized, the bomb bay wasn't.  There was a tunnel that crossed the bomb bay that was used by the crew to move from the tail to forward sections.

Under powered?

The lowest max speed I saw was 365, and the highest was somewhere around 415.

That doesn't sound underpowered to me.

The He 219 was not a dayfighter, it was not designed to be one, and it was not used as one. It would be slaughtered in that application.
