Bagrat you just proved the old axiom. It's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it.
i face palmed, I realize I did not word that in the best way, but don't be so touchy about it you act like people don't die everyday. Simply saying here is a another reason why it would be beneficial to know how to defend against somebody who attacks you with a knife or you could continue not knowing and become another statistic. Ive been threatened by knife wielding persons and wish I'd known how to defend against it too. I don't even know why I try, seriously some of you guys read something and automatically jump to worst conclusions. Even as penguin stated it's probably just the tip of the iceberg, we do not know the entire situation. Really sometimes just because somebody is a marine everybody wants to believe that person is a saint and anything even slightly negative said towards that person is considered being a fool or unamreican. I knew a marine who was a buddy of mine who assaulted a girl by punching her in the face. Yeah he was a veteran marine, but he still did something that was in bad character, maybe this guy did something too. Hell a cousin of mine got into a bar fight with a marine, that guy pulled a knife out and was ready to stab my cousin. If my cousin's friends had not been there too intervene and kick the marine in the head, maybe a member of my family would be dead now. You can bet if the media had found out about this, it would not have been interpreted as two men having a dispute and one of the men pulled out a knife, instead it would more than likely have been read as two thugs attack American hero (which is very biased to lead the reader against any civilian). Anyways it's impossible to know all the factors going through someones head, but continue feeling self righteous if u want.
