Same boat. Did not get one for my birthday, hoping for Christmas, and will be buying soon after if it doesn't materialise then...

just a thought.  A lot of people have tried them and didn't like them for various reasons.  Might want to post up in classifieds and see if anybody's got one they don't want.  You might be able to pick one up on the cheap.
