How do i get rid of lag

i got a song and all these great shots, but 1 huge prob how do i get rid of the lag? its like jerking and the freezing the starting again. im using windows move maker, with nothing running in background. if there is another video editing program plz tell me and the price range. thanks and :salute

Well, one trick I have learned is record the shots at half speed, then once in Movie maker, edit the shots to double speed. It may still seem jerky in Movie maker, but once you save it and watch it in like media player or even on youtube, it should look fine. If you recorded game sounds though, you will have to cut them from the clips and then try to re apply them where necessary, but if you have music, I wouldnt worry about it.

how do i do that in movie maker???
