Fallon Nevada
« on: November 13, 2010, 08:02:52 AM »
Heading out to Fallon Nevada in the near future with my squadron for training exercises. Cant really tell yall when because I dont want homeland security picking me up in a black van. But Im looking to see if anyone is out in that area and I'll buy the first round of beers. Or if anyone knows of any nice places to look up. Cant go to Vegas, off limits, and Im sure my paycheck will appreciate it. But I was hoping to see Virginia City and Reno.

Make sure you visit Virginia City first off then just drop off the hill into Reno, the drive from Virginia City to Reno is down this very steep curvy road and during the winter it can make your cheeks pucker to the seat  :rofl Reno is just a cool little version of Vegas without all the trash and bums not to many casino's like there used to be, it's a fun place i drive down there at least every other month it's only a 6 hour drive from central Oregon,

you can easily spend a day in Virginia City and at the Delta Saloon they still have a slot machine that pays out in silver dollars, i always hit that place up and am lucky at winning those silver dollars, last time i went i played 20 in quarters and walked away with 6 silver dollars, theres all kinds of cool little shops and go visit the Cemetery theres some graves all the way back to the late 1700's, i found it interesting that the average age was mid 20's to early 30's life back then was hard
