Disco - Perks

I wish you would not loose perks when you disco.

-1. It sucks when it happens, but if it was implemented, all the 2 week warriors would pull the plug on their moden the second a con got within 2 sectors of their superfortress.

I see your point.

About of half, just like ditching?

Would  be the same... you can save 100 perks then instead of 200 by disconnecting instead of getting shot down in a 262... that's still enough incentive to do it.

Loose 50% perks on everything but the 262 (and B29)? or on everything that's more than 50 perks?

As long as a disco will give players an advantage perk wise over getting shot down, it will be abused.
So I don't see any way or reason to change the way it currently is.

form a different point of view; do we care about giving some noob his disco vs getting killed advantage? They most likely will not have time.

I don't know what the status of being noob or not has to do with this, but: Yes.

I think one should be refunded perks if disco'd with 0 damage taken, 0 hits taken, and no enemy contacts within 8k range.

Just my thoughts.

What about the 262 newb that is compressing down to the earth with no idea of how to trim it out?

remember that old saying "if you need to ask how much it costs, you cant afford it"  same for 262's if you worry about losing your perks.  dont up one.  I use the 262's to search for cv's then auger, bring b26's and sink it.
