Flight Journal (Collectors Edition)
« on: November 11, 2010, 04:08:34 PM »
So, was in town today and stopped into Books a Million. Was browsing the magazine area when out of the corner of my eye I spot a yellow nosed 109. Immediately I am drawn to it like a fly to a bugzapper. The magazine is called "Flight Journal: Collectors Edition" and the subtitle is German Fighters, Air Combat Over the Reich. I had to get it. So far I have just skimmed it and everything in it is legit and good. Some good color pictures of some JG53 109's too and some good articles. This was the only one I saw at the store, so I dont know if it is the current issue, but if so I would recommend this issue as it is quite good from what little I have read.

Also, for anyone who already reads Flight Journal, is it a descent magazine to read, or just an every now and then magazine? Thanks.

A new issue comes out every few months. It seems they throw some bonus issues out there every now and again as well. I have a subscription and enjoy it.

Warbirds Digest wants me back, I might resubscribe.    I'll check this one out as well.

I've been a subscriber to Flight Journal for a while (couple of years, I think).  I like it a lot.  It concentrates heavily on WWII aircraft.
