I have much the same sentiment as other members of 13TAS here regarding Beemer.  He taught me much about this game, and I had a lot of fun flying with him when I was lucky enough to be in his company in the squad.  Very sad news, please give his family my best regards and condolenses.

I hope he is winging up with Oz right now in their 51's.

Sorry to hear this...was only in the 13th TAS for a little while but always enjoyed flying with Beemer.

This is such a shocker.  I flew with the 13th TAS for a short time as well, and remember all the fun times we had.  I'm so sorry to hear this Sax, my sincerest condolences.

Terrible news indeed.  Beemer will be missed.  Missed the olden days when Beemer and the 13th TAS tangled with us in the 412th FS, Mustangs on Mustangs.  Some great fights.  Beemer was always a class act.  <S> my friend.  Prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

Sax, thanks for sharing the news.  Can you PM with the details?  Many Thanks

<S> Beemer! Used to give me fits in my Corsair. Great pilot and no doubt a great guy.
