Forza 3? Why .. yes .. I still burn rubber there :)
« on: November 16, 2010, 08:48:00 PM »
Ok .. for laffs my son and I literally maxed out a Datsun 510.. I mean .. the works.

In Forza 3.

Do not try this at home!

It's got the Skyline drivetrain, turbocharged, 4wd, biggest stickiest tires, caged, gutted
..  I mean we put every single thing in/on it that was available in game for power/susp/brakes

Painted it Beige.
Lil Baby Moons on it for hubcaps.

'S/F Racing' sticker on the doors.

.. umm .. 950hp.

240mph on the Mulsanne.

R3 class.

What's the S/F stand for?

StoopidFAST
.. it's just amazing fun and destroys every other car in class.
It looks hilarious lining up against the other R3 cars and leaves them in it's dust right from GO.

If I win the lottery I am building one.

I recently maxed out a Nissan Infiniti G35 with the AWD drivetrain, fits nicely with my little collection of
power-sliders. I named the car group 'Gymkhana'  :D

maxing them out is easy. its a lot more interesting to try and maximize performance while staying within a class.

Ever max out a civic, biggest waste of credits ever! :rofl

that game is the shiz though, even play it on full difficulty. I could never find anybody to play it with me though,  friends would try it and would say it's "too real" aka they don't like it cuz they suk at it.

of course if u mash the gas on take off in a 900hp+ vehicle your gonna lose traction!  :furious

This game is still the one and only reason why I want an xbox.

But I'm not buying an entire system just for one game, so...  :(

We have 2010 camaros in our real life camaro club laying down 1000+ hp and 1000+ ft lbs torque.

Getting it to the ground requires smaller 18" rims so you can mount hoosiers or some race radials.

Yassir .. I have over a hundred cars (so far) .. lot of class built specials.
The Datsun pretty much owns R3 ..nothing will stay with it in any kind of straight and it corners fairly average.
Brakes suck ..have to brake a lot earlier than say .. a Ferrarri or Porsche ..it just doesn't have the option avail to hang them huge Brembo's on it with 11" tires all around.

However the Datsun accelerates out of a corner like a rocket, and just keeps accelerating madly so much so that a little overshoot into runoff really is no big deal .. it generates such a huge lead :)

-GE aka Frank (I run it with 'hard' mode AI ..they cannot keep up with it .. numbers? ..howbout a 3:30 lap at LeMans 'Old Mulsanne' :) .. I should try a run at the Ring :)

-starts laughing-

Ok ok .. I ran the lil Datsun on the 'ring a few times..
Gawd that thing is FUN!

7.54 time was my best from a standing start in a race with the other R3 AI cars.
I never saw any of 'em after the first corner ..just *blasted* into the lead and left them all at the start.

Gets right about 234mph on that long straightaway . . ROFL.

Couple o stats on the lil beige Datsun 510:
2420 lbs
947hp
all wheel drive
70 percent torque to rear wheels (for hangin it out off the apex :)
ride height as low as it will go in front, an inch higher at the back for that 'race car' rake :)
Itty Bitty spoiler on the back .. I dunno if it needs it or not, bein the brick shape it is, but ..
..I mean
.. it's gotta have a spoiler at least,
it's embarrassing enough as it is to pull up to the line with baby moons and .. beige.
ROFL!
