Salamander saw extremely little combat, if any at all.

Both the Fritz and the Butterfly were used on multiple occasion.

Why not the Salamander?
It was a worthless pile of plywood (read: crap).
It was meant to be a quick, easy to produce jet fighter flown by people with little/no training like Hitlerjügend (thus the name Volksjäger), it was never meant to be a decent fighter (which it wasn't, at all).

Speaking of bomblets, these were extremely effective from what I recall, and used on a pretty decent scale.

This is why you do not use wikipedia as a source....

Well I just read the plaque attached to the op's images, and it says that 1386 were produced 602 expended in testing and training, and it's operational use was limited due to it's poor accuracy and lack of aircraft capable of carrying it!   :bolt:
