I like to do many things:
Fight offense.
Fight defense.
Fight in Tanks, Ships, Fighters, Bombers, on the ground, low alt, med alt, high alt.
Sometimes take a prize with a LVT, C47 or M3.

Currently enamored with the T34, M4A3, P51B, F4U-1, B17s, B24s, P39s, Yak9T (this gradully changes over time)

Winning teh war is really the last thing on my mind.  The only good thing that comes from that is the scenery change.  I am far more interested in defending a base being attacked or taking one that is being defended. That is where the fights are.

I like it all. If I get bored & need a change, I'll do something I haven't done in a while, like babysit a CV and keep it from being sunk. When I fly, it doesn't break my heart to get shot down. Some guys will con a couple newbs into flying as their wing-man and tell them if he gets shot down, it's their fault. That he's the most important plane in the squad and if they get shot down, that's OK, that's their job...to protect him! Goes into a tirade  :furious over getting killed when his wing man is screaming at him to, "Turn, high fast Mossie" that no one saw. Yes I got killed too.  :cry  I'm not making this up either... :neener:
Back to some fun. I love flying something I haven't flown a lot & improving my skills enough to get a few kills and not die so often, But to me getting shot down is OK. It don't hurt a bit.  :rofl  If it did I'd have quit a year ago. Hopefully every time I get beat I pick up something small to take to the next fight.

1) stealing kills
2) circling my base 75 miles in friendly territory at 30,000ft waiting for somebody to fly underneath me.
3) helping the other 12 guys get that 1 spit, because It doesn't look like they "got it"
4) ramming planes not on the runway
5) running from fights for sectors
6) check6ing people even though the enemy plane has already flown passed them.
7) flying ta-152
8) repetitively carpet bombing that same patch of grass about 300 yards away from the entire airfield
9) ramming planes still on the runway
10) taking off of carriers that are near enemy HQ and undiscovered.
11) dropping entirely too much ord on your vehicle.
12) rocket vulching
15) hiding in the map room
16) landing on things I should not
17) getting T-boned by runway crossing convoys
18) HO'ing in my 262
19) accumulating multiple collisions per sortie

Killing bombers with a 110 and sidewinders.

Complaining about not having a Me410 so I can kill bombers faster and at higher alts.
Proudly campaigning (screaming, whining, begging, pleading) for the addition of the Me410 to AH2

I prefer the pick and 1 v 1 game.

If I am in a furball I am most likely picking, unless I have a wingman.

If it is a 1 v 1 I will most likely fight, unless I have reason(s) as to why I can't fight.

Bombing and GV'ing just isn't my thing, could never get into a tank and actually have fun. Takes one egg for me to hop in a plane and egg someone else.  :lol

Bombing is just too slow pace...
1. You have to get off the runway
2. It takes ages to get to your target(Unless in B26-B25-Ki67-etc.)
3. If you aren't high enough people act as if they have never seen a bomber before.
4. The Calibration Sight hates me
5. My Gunning sucks, so I am very easy kill.  :neener:

I fly ords porking missions alone mostly but not by choice. I resupply fields and run GV supplies to folks that need them and I am one of about five Bishops that will defend a base. I am mostly a tanker but can't find a tank fight anymore. If I had better frame rate I would try to dogfight.
But the fun part is hanging out on line with other folks the love this game.

Out looking for a good fight.  Never had much interest in the GV side or winning the war.  Air to Air is what I enjoy
(Image removed from quote.)

I've always enjoyed that from time to time too. I look at what base may become under attack soon, take my plane over there, and just wait and patrol the skies. Soon enough one or two guys eventually show up and I always have fun in those fights.

Nice Pic too btw!  :aok

It varies each time however, I do enjoy flying bombers to hit the Capital.  I don't do it for perks or to land damage, I simply do it because it is fun and will hurt a country if hit enough times. :devil  I do find it quite rare to find people willing to hit the Capital enough times to make it hurt though.  Most will up once, MAYBE twice with me.  But almost everyone does not stick around for the "long haul".  It takes time and repeated bomb runs to hurt the Capital.

Last night was an extremely rare treat for me though, as 2 others in the squad I fly with stayed and kept working the Knight Capital with me.  The 71 RAF routed us 3 or 4 times, but that only made it more fun. You probably thought we had given up when we actually decided to take a break.  We had been launching continuous strikes against it well before you guys routed us.  I really wasn't feeling well and my gunnery showed that. :lol  I barely did anything to you guys.  Still had fun and shot a couple of you guys down.  I liked how you attacked with those Mossy's.  That was a blast. :salute  Maybe next time, I'll provide a better bit of gunning. :devil  We had chosen that same path each time you guys routed us, because we figured you'd be there to intercept.  It reminded me of that demo that played in Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe. :lol  We kept getting blasted just before target, except once.  One of us DID make it to target and got his bombs off, though he didn't make it home.  Either way, it was a blast. :salute

Volron, that was alot of fun. You guys flew a really good box of bombers. It was very difficult for us to attack. The ju-88s were hard enough, I think it was krusty, warspawn and myself in two 190A8s and a p38s that time. We limped home with fluids leaking on that run. Then when we found you in B-17s we knew we were in for a harder fight. I think it was Redtop, Krusty and myself again in mossies.

It was really good to see some dedicated bobmer tactics. You shot us all down that run, i think. I know you personaly definitely got me.

S! to those guys in bombers that night, very enjoyable conflict even if I did only get shot up repeatedly.

For me in AH, I just like to have fun. Friends and enemies to talk to. People to fly with and shoot at. Don't need more than that.
