tracer selection for air vs gv

yes i know we a have global tracer on/off in the clipboard.

i would like to have the option to have tracers always on in gv's/field guns and off in planes.

thoughts?

I would go even further: Individual tracers selection for each plane/vehicle , as part of the loadout choice in hangar.

If I'm in a 37mm at at a base and turn the tracers off, the planes can;t see them. Can GV see them?

IIRC, if you turn tracers off, only you can't see them.  I think planes can still see them.

Anything over 20mm, you cannot turn tracers off, period.

I've never checked that. I thought the idea [and purpose] of no tracers was to keep from bullet misses from allerting the bandit you're shooting at, until you hit him.
