I is smart.

Just an FYI, they will FAIlL you if you don't use a blinker.
I use a blinker, because I want o drive safely

16, my very first behind-wheele review, failed it because I was in an intersection when the light turned red while making a left because I erred on not assuming everybody oncoming was gonna yield to the yellow, so I was being defencive and waiting for the first cars to at least start braking/slowing, but a Silverado did in fact run the yellow as it turned red.  IDK if the instructor wasn't paying full attention (writing on his clipboard) or was paying attention but had to fail me anyways, but it really pissed me off that I failed my first test because I erred on not getting my instructor T-boned, lol.  I agressivley made that turn the next time, and passed back then, but it would of certainly been another fail today with a recent law passed that you can't turn left less than 100' infront of an oncoming vehicle.

For the record, been driving 12 years now, no tickets, no major accidents (got a fender dinged in a parking lot becasue someone backed out into me that wasn't looking over their shoulder, and bit a loose spare tire once at high speed on the highway (it rolled from the oncoming side somewhere, crossed the wide median, was rolling dead headon at me, right shoulder was loose gravel and under construction so I couldn't use it going 55+, I could only brake for a split second before I had to eat it straight to the radiator, bounced over 50ft straight up and landed on the roof of the idiot shadowing me in the left lane for the last 15 minutes (and who paralled me in braking too and wouldn't let me merge in as I was trying to avoid the tire).  New Honda accord front bumper, hood and radiator = easily repairable.  An inverted ford focus roof =/= as easily repairable.  Idiot tryed to press the CHP to ticket or fine me for causing the damage to his car (he didn't have insurance or insurance to cover a random no-guilty-party incident like this), pissed the CHP officer off, and when I told the office the story and me just being anoyed at him for being a bad driver and paralleling me for over 20 miles including during the brakeing, he went back to him, told him what I had been wanting to (he got what he deserved) and that if he kept pushing it he would ticket him for paralleling or tandeming or w/e that's officialy called.  Guy was stumped and wanting to call the officer's supervisor because he had never heard of such a thing.  Last I saw the guy was still waiting for his tow truck, arguing with the officer and his supervisor, as I pulled away in the tow that came for me.)).

<Snip>

Interestingly, I failed my driving test twice, both times because I was "too cautious" (Considering I generally drive like I stole it, this has always been a good joke among friends). I chose to drive at 10mph when going through a residential area with cars on both sides and kids playing in the street. There was barely enough room to fit one car, let alone oncoming traffic, and with limited visibility, it seemed like a good idea, but the driving instructor took it as I lacked the confidence to drive a car...  :rolleyes:
