Why are we searching for alternative arena settings when all we really need is an honest declaration from all koth participants that no outside communication will be used.

It's got to be based on honour. It is possible to cheat this way, for everyone. Just don't do it. Problem solved.  :)

none of our members have said we will be using Vent during TOC i think a few of them dont understand how communication could affect how a certain pilot performs on that day and i honestly dont either but i do understand the fact of ppl worrying about communication and coordinating attacks on other players but seriously does that affect how you fly on that day?and if so how?not trying to argue just wanting to see it from your point of view  :salute

We will fight completely within the rules (as we have always done) you have my word. 

Now I hope you have lots of fight left in you Grizz because if this is a warm up it needs some work.

I want you guys to say that you won't use it.  This whole thread proves that you guys are not concerned at all with sportsmanship and integrity, but instead more concerned with creating any kind of edge you can to win.  Imo, this TOC is tainted. 

I call for a boycott of KOTH/TOC until they agree to turn off their 3rd party voice comms.

on the contrary I accuse you of trying to do the exact same thing. 

If you seriously thought that vent was so much of an edge you would have brought it up well before now.

We won't use it for this TOC but I will say I'm very surprised by your attitude.

I only participated in a couple koths this year.  I planned to bring it up for TOC.
