they cant remove threads. they can only lock them and merge them. iirc skuzzy told us this

Negative... SMF admin's can remove a thread completely.  But, it is def not the normal practice here.

HiTech himself removed the thread completely. I also checked that one out and when I came back to it a little while later I got a page that said "this thread has been removed or you are not authorized to view it."
