« on: December 14, 2010, 07:05:52 AM »
This one was postponed last week, but will take place Saturday 18th December at 19:30Hrs (7.30pm) US EST

If you're not much on details feel free to turn up, fly whatever you like and shoot anyone not on your side  :D Otherwise there's a short overview of the scenario at the following link, note that the date mentioned above is the correct one.

A good strong drink just prior to takeoff was a fine WW1 tradition which is still encouraged today in the WW1 arena. Helps mitigate the effects of the castor oil. Recommended dose for Camel drivers is 2 drinks and 15 minutes of chain smoking (3 to 5 cigarettes depending on brand and lung capacity)   Probably not a good idea for WW2 arenas though, with all those flaps and trims, retractable undercarriages, auto-whine and other newfangled tomfoolery  :bolt:

We seemed to get through this one pretty quickly, I had a disconnect just after the kickoff and missed the party but I'm told it went well. Something like 14 players with SCASP in his Camel defending SCBilly's F2b, Happy finally fought his way through and claimed the kill with a ram (out of ammo Happy?) kamikazee attacks in WW1 what next lol. Not sure which country he was on but no matter, it was hopefully an enjoyable pre-Christmas 'bash'. We did run the scenario again with the numbers down to just 6 or 7 players but that was more of a laugh than a serious rerun.

Thanks to everyone who participated for being patient and giving the idea a go  :salute
