Grrr. Disco!
« on: December 11, 2010, 02:11:19 PM »
For some reason my desktop is taking a REALLY long time to pull up AHII, and then when I get in, it takes even longer to get into a lobby. After that, I disco immediately after I get in the arena.

My Ping is low 100's and I am wired. I don't know what the problem is...

 :salute

If you can help, please help. Thanks in Advance.

get pingplotter and install it. Ping the game servers. If you see red and packet loss, that is where your trouble is.

Do a pingplot at the very least.

Christmas is one of the disco seasons due to the additional load of shoppers and facebook users and so on but probably if you are seeing discos like you describe its something else. In Michigan we used to have nothing but problems in winter. Ice on the cables and increased ground waters can make a difference.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

If the game is taking a long time to load, take a look at your process/CPU usage in the Windows Task Manager, when nothing is running.  The CPU usage should almost always be at zero when there is no applications running.

When Aces High is running, the CPU usage for the game would ideally be at 99 to 100%.
