Need help with my Joystick :-)
« on: February 13, 2001, 10:36:00 PM »
Currently I have a CH Flightstick Pro/Throttle/Pro pedals setup. My Flightstick is getting a bit old, I recently scored a MS Sidewinder FF Pro.

The question I have is there anyway to keep using my throttle/pedals with the FF Pro?

You should be able to, I use 2 completely different sticks at the same time.

Not USB.

So far I've figured out the FF Pro uses the secondary channel for midi signals to control the FF, apparently theres a midi-serial cable for it, so I might give that a try.

The only way to get that setup to work is if you have two input game card . If you would have had a USB FFB stick then as SKurj said NP but !!!! Don't hook both throttle and that stick together , only asking for problems . One's digtal the others analog .

Buy ya a cheap USB Pre Pro if you have to that works , I use it for my back up setup . Better yet buy ya a Saitek x36 and use your ch peds with it .

cheers spro

Well in the end I stripped my FS Pro down and swapped the builtin throttle POT with the roll POT... worked a treat! Not as accurate as the FF Pro though but I'm happy.
