Object Editor Crashing

I had an odd hankering to play with the object editor a bit today just to check it out. 
However, everytime I open it, it immediatly crashes.
Any hints?

Probably a dumb question but do you have the latest version installed?

Should be version 2.15 patch 3

Thanks for taking the time to help.
I'm not sure the version as it won't stay up enough for me to get to the about box.  :lol

It comes with the editor install all in one package right?

I installed "AHEDIT2172.EXE"

Yeah I figured ..that's an older version  the latest is AHEDIT2213.EXE

I am having the same problems with the new version. Would like to try and make some maps but the program keeps crashing out on me. and I have the newest program
